Eco Friendly House Designs How Do I Make A Sustainable/eco-friendly House?

How do I make a sustainable/eco-friendly house? - eco friendly house designs

For my school project I'm designing a house (with gardens and interiors - such as light bulbs, low power consumption, etc.) and I need ideas to make homes more environmentally friendly and sustainable.
It is a round house (which retains the heat), with a thatched roof.
Can anyone recommend something?

Any help is much appretiate!
Thank you,

Roundhouse is good because it stopped a maximum space to the outer wall of at least - for heavy materials with high thermal mass (stone, mud, isolate, etc.) or super wool or bales of straw and clay plaster. Put your glass on the south side of the house and a shelter against the north. Catch all the water and it can swim, etc. Avoid the use of concrete used, and if you manage get all your rods / etc of sources. With wind power and solar thermal and ground source or bio-fuels - growing your own from them. Grow your own vegetables and composting / recycling.

Search development progress as BedZed in London - carbon neutral, which have too many ideas.

I contacted a builder, you can experiment, that is a directory of green http://www.greenyourself.org to find and ask if you can interview for a school project. Ask them if they have ideas and how they hit.
